Much of Coventry Scaffolding’s work goes unseen by the general public and this is an example why.
When Coventry Scaffolding were asked to complete this highly prestigious and important contract in the House of Parliament in a limited time span, they decided to use Haki’s Universal system scaffold to help them do it. The project, in the huge Westminster Hall entailed a large freestanding birdcage, designed to provide access to the ceiling and turret areas of the building.
The erection of the structure, which measured 12 metres by 10.5 metres on plan and was constructed to a height of 17 metres was completed in less than two days. With a similar period for dismantling, the total scaffolding time was a fraction of what it would have been using traditional tube and fittings.
