We are seeking an experienced Contracts Supervisor to support the successful delivery of scaffolding projects across London and the South East
The role
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Contracts Supervisor will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring scaffold works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the high standards expected by both our clients and the company.
What we’re looking for
Key responsibilities:
- Supervise scaffold operatives across multiple sites.
- Plan daily site activities and allocate labour effectively.
- Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with TG20, SG4 and company procedures.
- Carry out regular site inspections and quality checks.
- Liaise with clients, site management teams and Contracts Managers.
- Ensure projects remain on programme and identify potential issues before they impact delivery.
- Complete site documentation and reports accurately.
- Promote excellent housekeeping and safe working practices at all times.
- Mentor and support scaffold operatives and trainees.
- Maintain the professional standards expected on prestigious client sites.
Essential requirements:
- Extensive scaffolding industry experience.
- CISRS Advanced Scaffolder qualification.
- Strong knowledge of TG20, SG4 and current industry legislation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to organise labour and manage site activities effectively.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable:
- CISRS Scaffold Inspection qualification.
- SSSTS or SMSTS.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- Experience working on commercial, heritage and high-security projects.
