Coventry Scaffolding sponsors Beckenham Town FC

25/10/23

Coventry Scaffolding is pleased to announce its sponsorship of local team, Beckenham Town Football Club for 2023/4.

Our support for the club during the upcoming football season includes being the main shirt sponsor for the first team. The Coventry logo will be emblazoned across the team kit as they compete in the South East Division of the Isthmian League through the rest of this year and into next.

As well as being shirt sponsors, we have also helped the club by erecting scaffolding structures around the grounds on Eden Park Avenue for various purposes, including a covered entrance and camera stands.

Formed in 1887, Beckenham Town FC is one of the older non-league clubs still in existence today. The club has had several famous faces partake in its leadership over the years – ex-Prime Minister, Harold Macmillan, was a former club President, and the Vice President position has been held by Sydney Wooderson, one of the country’s best middle-distance runners.

Players who formerly wore Beckenham’s colours include: goalkeeper Ray Potter, who later played over 220 games for West Bromwich Albion; Pat Saward, former captain for The Republic of Ireland; and ex-Charlton Athletic star, Jason Euell. Coventry Scaffolding also shares a connection with a former player, as Director, Paul Hanifan’s, son Harvey Hanifan played for the club last season.

“We’re proud to support Beckenham Town Football Club,” says Perry Hanifan, Director at Coventry Scaffolding. “It’s been fantastic to see the players sporting our logo as they’ve battled it out in some close matches so far this season. We’ll be following the team’s progress closely and wish them the best of luck in their forthcoming games.”
